Sridhar is the Director HR and Lead Director for the Diversified Businesses of the Murugappa Group and a member of the Murugappa Corporate Board, the highest strategy and policy making committee of the 4bn USD Conglomerate.

Prior to joining the Murugappa Group in 2007, Sridhar has had a long stint of almost 15 years with Cadbury Schweppes PLC (currently Kraft Foods). He has significant experience in the areas of governance, business strategy and leadership development.

Sridhar brings over 35 years of varied experience prior to joining the Group. He also serves as an Independent Director in the Board of Carborundum Universal Ltd. He is a member of the Board of Parry Murray (in the Furnishings area) based in the UK and also a member of the Board of Adrenalin eSystems Limited, a subsidiary of Polaris,an IT major.
